Easy and Delicious Ciabatta Pizza with Goat Cheese and Homemade Pizza Sauce

A quick, easy and delicious ciabatta pizza recipe with home made pizza sauce. For more recipes, visit my blog at www.cookthehelloutofit.com. Quick, easy and delicious. Just heat up the broiler, slather on a homemade sauce and pile on the toppings. You will have most of the ingredients in your cupboard. Best of all, this pizza doesn’t involve creating pizza dough, making it perfect for a fast dinner. Doctor it any way you want and add whatever toppings you like. I make it a lot on the weekends for lunch — it’s great enjoyed outside with a glass of red wine. Following the recipe below is a how-to video. Hope you enjoy! Makes 2 pizzas. What You Need: 4 tablespoons tomato paste 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus a little more for drizzling on top 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano Salt and pepper to taste 1 ciabatta bread loaf or French bread loaf 2 medium tomatoes sliced (you will need 8 slices) 6 large pieces of salami (pepperoni, prosciutto or other meat of choice — vegetarians, leave this out) 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese (substitute mozarella cheese if you want) 2 slices asiago cheese Pepperoncinis 2 handfuls fresh arugula (rocket) How To Do It: Preheat the broiler to 350°F. Cut the ciabatta loaf in half to make two pieces. Save one half for later. Cut the remaining piece lengthwise to create to 2 even halves. Place on a baking sheet or pan, crust side down.
